Dynamites in all packages

I have seen dynamites in all packages, all sizes. It is a tough world out there…

I grew up with the concept of dynamites coming in small packages, at least by then one knew what to expect. Now you can’t really trust anyone, it’s too risky, it is suicide. We used to kill and skin, but times have changed they skin you alive. Back in the days we would hunt to eat but nowadays we hunt on a full stomach. It is amazing, it is called life evolution.

“Good” is not always “good” and bad sometimes is the only good one can look up to. Vegetables are carnivores and the definition of bad is -as bad as it can get. We should really take the word trust out of our vocabularies, after all “almost winning” is loosing. What happened to mother-nature? We used to be humans not money-making machines. What happened to humanity? We are insulting people for not respecting us. What happened to dignity? What happened to respect? Do we have any values left?

Sometimes people, good people do bad things, what are they then? Are they bad people? We are playing the game with no rules, in fact the rules are there for formality and only that. Sometimes we forget where we are going, sometimes I forget where I am going. Where are we going? Are we going the right way? These are the questions that we need to be thinking about, these are the questions that we don’t want to think about. These questions are the introspection type of questions. Humans have always feared what they cannot understand, humans are scared because they do not understand life. Humans would rather spent time praising God, than spent time with God.

Next time you say good, think of the bad that makes that good, that good. After all beauty doesn’t exist without ugliness and may I am too good to be that bad. At the end of the road, begins the other, every coin have its flip-side and there is no heads without tales. This is just a mind game, I need you to think about it.

Is COMSA a communications structure that cannot communicate?

ImageIs COMSA a communication structure that cannot communicate?

By Ratikwane Godwin

The members of COMSA has spoken and raised their issues to PR Profile ever since the survey has been launched. We asked 510 COMSA member if COMSA have been communicating enough with them. Four members out of ten are happy with way the information has been communicated to them, three members out of ten are unhappy. Last but not least, three members out of ten are satisfied but are saying that more can and should be done.

PR Profile has conducted a survey throughout the communications students’ association members and 510 members whom were chosen randomly have participated. Most members expressed how they feel about the communication efforts put to reach them, the executive and the strength of the organisation. Members are saying that the executive in charge this year is more innovative than those of the previous years, but however more can still and should be done. The main concern is that COMSA does not involve its members in their strategic planning and they are not utilizing all communication platforms. Out of all the platforms possible to be utilized, COMSA is focusing on facebook and telephone calls. We have twitter, blogging platforms that are for free, email systems and many other platforms out there.

Members are also concerned about the relationships strength of the community, they say that the relationships at a ground level are poor and maybe it is because of the shortages of the platforms. Some members are saying that the structures both in Pretoria and Cape Town only care for the votes and they as the members want to be involved. Some of them are saying that COMSA does not want to establish a two-way communication, rather the structure prefer to say something and not to hear something.

There are those members that are behind the current executive committee and one of them is Amos Jonza Choma and he is saying that he have gained a lot from the structure since the structure is more visible and encourages students communication.

Is COMSA really a communications structure that cannot communicate?
